About Our Rugs

There's a certain warmth a well-made rug brings into a room — texture underfoot, color that holds its own, a little personality in every step. Our rugs began as a small idea: to take the patterns we love and turn them into something soft, durable, and easy to live with, whether that's a bedroom floor, a bathroom mat, or a favorite reading nook.

Woven In, Not Printed On

Every pattern in our tufted and flocked collections is worked directly into the fibers, not printed on the surface, so the color and detail hold up wash after wash instead of cracking or peeling over time. Our woven collections are hand-crafted using traditional flat-weave techniques, giving each piece the slightly irregular character that only comes from handwork rather than a fully automated process.

Natural and Considered Materials

Depending on the collection, our rugs are crafted from soft flocked microfiber, faux cashmere fiber, or a natural cotton blend, each chosen for how it feels underfoot and how well it holds up to daily use. Sizes and edge finishes are noted on each product page, since construction varies slightly by collection.

A Floor Accent, A Finishing Touch

These rugs are made for everyday use as much as they are for style, soft enough for a bedside spot, sturdy enough for an entryway, and practical enough for a bathroom floor. They pair naturally with our other home textiles, an easy way to tie a room together with a little more texture and color.

Frequently Asked

Curated questions, thoughtful answers.

Everything you might wonder about — our fabrics, our craft, and how your order reaches your door.

We do our best to photograph all our rugs to represent the true color and texture as closely as possible. Keep in mind that screen settings can slightly affect how colors appear, and since patterns are tufted rather than printed, there may be very slight natural variation piece to piece.

Care varies slightly by collection — most of our flocked and tufted rugs are machine washable (wash cold, gentle cycle, lay flat to dry), while our more detailed illustrated designs are best kept looking sharp with wipe-clean care. Check the "Care Instructions" section on each product page for the exact method for that design.

Yes — our rugs lie flat and work well on hardwood, tile, laminate, or carpeted floors. Many of our designs include a non-slip backing for extra grip on smooth or slippery surfaces — check the "Details" section on the specific product page to confirm whether that design includes one. If it doesn't, we'd recommend pairing it with a separate rug pad for use on smooth flooring.

Our patterns are woven directly into the fibers rather than printed on the surface, so the color and detail hold up better over time and repeated washing than a surface-printed mat.

Many of our rugs include a non-slip backing for extra grip — this is noted in the "Details" section of each product page, so it's worth checking there for the specific design you're looking at. If a listing doesn't mention a non-slip backing, we'd recommend pairing it with a separate rug pad for use on smooth flooring.

It's normal for a new rug to have a mild manufacturing smell right out of the packaging — this usually fades within a day or two once it's unrolled and aired out in a well-ventilated room.
