How does cotton-linen compare with cotton and linen?
Our cotton twill has a smooth, even surface. Our current floral cotton-linen duvet covers have a dry touch, fine slubs and gentle wrinkles. All-linen fabric has its own natural grain and folds. Choose smoothness or texture first, then compare the individual piece's fabric and construction.
Will the cotton-linen duvet covers feel rough?
Our current floral duvet covers have a subtle grain rather than a silky finish. Washing softens the hand feel, while the fine slubs and gentle wrinkles remain. If you prefer a smoother surface, explore our cotton twill bedding.
Is cotton-linen bedding good for hot sleepers?
Our current floral cotton-linen duvet covers feel dry and cool on first touch. Overnight warmth also depends on the duvet insert, fill, other layers and room temperature. A substantial filled quilt adds a different layer from an unfilled duvet cover.
Are the quilts reversible, and do they need an insert?
Yes. Orchard Flora and Provence Meadow are reversible quilts with microfiber fill, ready to use without a separate insert. Each includes one quilt. Both sides of Provence Meadow vary by design, so check the front and reverse images for your selection. Pillows and styling accessories are sold separately.
What comes in a duvet cover set?
Botanical Whimsy Floral, Quiet Garden Meadow and Petal Reverie Floral each include one duvet cover and two pillow shams. A duvet insert is not included. Check the listed cover and sham dimensions before choosing your size.
How do I choose the right size?
Match duvet cover dimensions to your insert. For a quilt, compare the measurements with your bed or sofa and the amount of overhang you want. Choose the size for your intended coverage, rather than the name alone.
How should I wash cotton-linen bedding?
Follow the care label for your exact piece. Natural-fiber fabrics can shrink, especially with excessive heat. Duvet covers and filled quilts have different care needs; check the individual instructions before washing or drying.
Can I buy just one piece from a suggested look?
Yes. The items in our suggested looks are sold separately. Choose the main piece, add any accessories you like and select each item's color and size before adding it to your cart.
