About Our Dolls
There's a certain warmth a handmade thing brings into a room — a sense that someone's hands, not a machine, made it. Our artisan dolls began as a small idea: to take the same cotton and linen we love in our bedding and shape it into something with a little soul. A soft presence at the foot of a bed, a gentle character on a shelf, a keepsake that feels like it was made just for you.
Made by hand, one at a time
Every doll is hand-sewn by our artisan partners — stitched, stuffed, and finished by people, not produced on a line. Because of that, each is gently one of a kind: tiny differences in size, expression, and detail are part of the charm, the quiet signature of real handwork. Good things take a little time, so these are made to order and may take slightly longer to reach you — well worth the wait for something this personal.
Natural materials, soft to the touch
Bodies are crafted from cotton and linen — the same natural, breathable fabrics behind our bedding — with soft synthetic-fiber hair and details. Sizes vary slightly from piece to piece (full measurements are on each product page), a natural result of the handmade process.
A gift, a keepsake, a finishing touch
These are made for displaying and gifting — beautiful on a bed, a chair, a shelf, or a nursery dresser, and a thoughtful little present for someone you love (or for yourself). Crafted for display and keepsake, and suitable for ages 3+. They pair naturally with our comforter sets and duvet cover sets — the easiest way to add a touch of handmade character to a finished bed.
Add a doll to any bedding order and save $10 — a small, soulful detail to complete the look.
Frequently Asked
Curated questions, thoughtful answers.
Everything you might wonder about — our fabrics, our craft, and how your order reaches your door.
Each doll is hand-stitched one at a time, so yours will have its own small individuality — the face, the stitching, and the proportions may differ slightly from the photos. We see that as the best part of owning something handmade rather than machine-made: it's genuinely one of a kind. If you're hoping for an exact match to the image, it's worth knowing this in advance.
Spot clean only. For everyday dust, a soft brush or a lint roller does the job. For a small mark or stain, gently dab the spot with a damp cloth and a little mild soap, then let it air dry away from direct heat. Please don't machine wash or submerge it — soaking can loosen the hand-stitching and pull the doll out of its shape, which is hard to undo on a handmade piece.
A little, like any soft décor — a throw pillow or a fabric lampshade does the same. It's nothing to worry about: a light lint-roll or brush every week or two keeps it looking fresh. If you'd like to keep upkeep to a minimum, a shelf behind glass, or a spot away from open windows and high-traffic areas, helps it stay clean longer.
The fabric is made to hold its color well, but like any natural textile, repeated strong sunlight will gradually soften the tones over months and years. This isn't a flaw in the doll — it's how cotton and linen behave. If you're placing it somewhere very bright, like a sunny windowsill, just know that's where fading shows first; a slightly shaded shelf keeps the colors truest for longest.
It's designed to be displayed leaning or seated rather than standing freely — propped against a wall, a stack of books, a shelf edge, or nestled among pillows on a bed. The soft fabric body gives it that relaxed, characterful slouch, so it looks most natural resting against something rather than standing upright on its own.
It tends to land well as a housewarming or "just because" gift precisely because it's decorative rather than practical — it feels thoughtful and a little unexpected, and it doesn't demand anything of the person the way a usable item might. If you're unsure of their style, a neutral floral or natural-tone design suits most homes. Pairing it with a bedding set also makes it feel like a complete, considered gift rather than a single small object.
Because every doll is made to order by hand — stitched, stuffed, and finished one at a time, not pulled from a shelf. That kind of craft simply takes a little longer than in-stock bedding, so we ask for a little patience. The loveliest things are usually worth the wait, and your doll will be on its way to you soon.
Not always. Since bedding is ready to ship and dolls are lovingly made to order, the two may be packed and sent separately, with your doll arriving a little after your bedding. Both are on their way — they just travel on slightly different timelines. If your order is meant as a gift for a particular day, we'd suggest ordering with a little extra time to spare, or reaching out to us so we can help.
We understand plans change. If you'd like to modify or cancel your order, please email us at support1@jersylinen.com as soon as possible. We'll do our best to help — but once your order has begun processing, we may no longer be able to make changes.
Once your order ships, we'll send you a tracking number by email so you can follow its journey. If you have any trouble tracking your package, just reach out to us at support1@jersylinen.com and we'll help.
All orders are typically processed, verified and prepared for shipment within 1–3 business days (Monday to Friday, excluding weekends and public holidays).
Processing times may extend slightly during peak seasons or promotional events.
We use a flexible mix of trusted carriers to get your order to you as reliably as possible, so delivery times can vary by destination and by the items in your order. For current processing times, shipping methods, and the regions we ship to, please see our full Shipping Policy. If you have a specific deadline in mind, email us at support1@jersylinen.com and we'll help you plan.
If your order has exceeded the expected delivery window, please write to us at support1@jersylinen.com or call (989) 906-1393, and we will gladly help resolve it.
We accept Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, American Express, Discover, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Shopify Pay.
We accept returns and exchanges on all eligible items within 30 days of the delivery date. To be eligible, the item must remain in its original condition — unused, unwashed, undamaged, and complete with all original tags and packaging. The original order number or proof of purchase is also required.
Used, washed or tag-removed items, made-to-order or handmade items (such as our artisan dolls), Final Sale or Clearance items, and Gift Cards are not eligible for change-of-mind return — though of course we'll always help if a handmade item arrives damaged or not as ordered.
Step 1 — Email support1@jersylinen.com
(or call (989) 906-1393) with your order number and reason for return (photos are helpful).
Step 2 — We will reply with return instructions and an address.
Step 3 — Once we receive and inspect the item, we will process your refund or exchange as soon as possible.
- If the item arrives damaged, defective or the wrong size — we cover return shipping.
- For personal or change-of-mind reasons — the customer is responsible for return shipping.
Please see our Refund and Return Policy for the complete details.
Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we'll notify you of the approval status. If approved, your refund is issued to your original payment method.
Our goal is to complete refund processing within 5–7 business days after receiving the returned goods. Your bank or card issuer may take additional time to post the refund to your account.
Because each doll is hand-sewn one at a time, small natural differences — a slightly uneven seam, a tiny variation in size, expression, or color — are the signature of genuine handwork, not defects, and aren't grounds for return on their own.
That said, if there's a real problem — the doll arrives damaged, stained, missing a part, clearly not the design you ordered, or noticeably different from what's shown — we'll absolutely make it right. Just email us at support1@jersylinen.com (or call (989) 906-1393) within 30 days of delivery with a photo, and we'll arrange a replacement or refund, with return shipping on us.
Because dolls are handmade to order, we're unable to accept returns for change-of-mind reasons outside of the issues above.
