- Set includes: 1 bed skirt

- Care : Before the first night Wash cold, on its own. A little surface color in that first rinse is normal — that's excess pigment leaving, not the print fading. It won't happen again.

- Washing: Cold or warm water on a gentle cycle. Never hot — heat is what shrinks cotton and dulls color.

-Turn printed pieces inside out. Most print wear comes from fabric rubbing against fabric, not from the water. Zip duvet covers closed so the teeth don't catch.

- Mild liquid detergent. No chlorine bleach, no oxygen bleach, no optical brighteners — check the label, most supermarket detergents contain them.

- Don't crowd the machine. A queen duvet cover needs room to move, or it spends forty minutes abrading itself.

- About fabric softener Skip it. Cotton gets softer because washing relaxes the fibers. Fabric softener coats them in a thin film that imitates softness now and prevents the real thing later — and it cuts breathability, which is most of why you bought cotton. Wool dryer balls do more.

- Drying : Tumble dry low and take it out while it's still slightly damp. That's what keeps wrinkles down and stops the fibers from over-drying. Or line dry out of direct sunlight. Either way, finish it on the bed — cotton relaxes as it airs.

- Ironing : Only if you like it crisp. Medium heat, always on the reverse side. Direct heat on a printed surface can glaze it.

- Stains: Blot, don't rub. Dilute any spot treatment and test an inside seam first — undiluted stain removers can lift color out of a printed area.
