No — the pattern is woven directly into the fibers rather than printed on the surface, so it holds up much better over repeated washes than a surface-printed mat.
We do our best to photograph all our rugs to represent the true color and texture as closely as possible. Keep in mind that screen settings can slightly affect how colors appear, and since this design is hand-woven, there may be slight natural variation piece to piece.

Yes — our rugs lie flat and work well on hardwood, tile, laminate, or carpeted floors. Most of our tufted and flocked designs include a non-slip backing for extra grip on smooth or slippery surfaces — check the "Details" section on each product page to confirm. Our hand-woven flatweave designs don't include this backing, so we'd recommend pairing those with a separate rug pad if used on a smooth floor.
